However, after a few weeks, my digestion was on track and more regular than before, and I felt quite energetic and light, having got rid of some bloating.
When taking the Nature’s Bounty Probiotic 10 Probiotic, I needed a few days for the body to adjust to the potent strain of probiotics fully.
The initial side effects included bloating, cramps, and gas all otherwise normal side effects of probiotics, depending on your digestive system.
Luckily, after a few days, the stomach pain and cramps went away, which was a sign that my body adjusted to the supplement. It is worth noting that side effects were not severe, but of course, this does depend on everyones circumstances.
Finally, it is good to take these capsules according to recommendations for some time and then adjust the dose that suits you. Once your body starts to respond to the probiotic strains, you may be okay with more rare intakes, for example.

A More Detailed Look At The Formula
As you can see, the formulation appears to contain two forms of Lactobacillus Plantarum. There are also two forms of Lactobacillus Paracasei.
Natures Bounty does not list the ingredients in a sensible way.
In the case of, Lactobacillus Plantarum 299v, the bacteria belongs to the Lactobacillus genus, the species is Plantarum, and the strain is 299v. Although Natures Bounty fails to provide it, the strain identifier code is DSM 9843.
For the second form of Lactobacillus Plantarum, Natures Bounty provides the identifier code but not the strain. Its a similar situation with Lactobacillus Paracasei. Although this is annoying it is not a major problem but it would have been nice to see some consistency.
Of the 10 bacteria strains provided, 9 of them belong to the Lactobacillus genus. Only one belongs to the Bifobacterium genus. Its rare to encounter a probiotic formulation that has so little input from the Bifobacterium genus, but Lactobacillus is always a key player, so no surprise there.

Well, they actually look decently good.
The additives it uses are Vegetable Cellulose, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Silica, and Vegetable Magnesium Stearate. Of these, the first and the third are typically agree to be some of the harmless ones. Whereas it is not that straightforward with the other two. Its not straightforward at all.
The thing is that these two are arguably the most misunderstood ones out there. It took me a lot of time to get to the bottom of them. And it wasnt without my own missteps mistaking them for harmful ones.
Because most of the sources out there will tell you with absolute certainty that both of these ingredients cause cancer. But, in reality, they dont. Its just an ill-understanding of the available research which then spread like wildfire. The truth of the matter is that I side with the minority of doctors who try to combat this unfounded idea of them being harmful .

So, we did manage to touch upon this idea that the product reviews that the Natures Bounty Acidophilus Probiotic has on its product page are no the brightest.
