However, after a few weeks, my digestion was on track and more regular than before, and I felt quite energetic and light, having got rid of some bloating.

A More Detailed Look At The Formula
As you can see, the formulation appears to contain two forms of Lactobacillus Plantarum. There are also two forms of Lactobacillus Paracasei.
Natures Bounty does not list the ingredients in a sensible way.
In the case of, Lactobacillus Plantarum 299v, the bacteria belongs to the Lactobacillus genus, the species is Plantarum, and the strain is 299v. Although Natures Bounty fails to provide it, the strain identifier code is DSM 9843.
For the second form of Lactobacillus Plantarum, Natures Bounty provides the identifier code but not the strain. Its a similar situation with Lactobacillus Paracasei. Although this is annoying it is not a major problem but it would have been nice to see some consistency.
Of the 10 bacteria strains provided, 9 of them belong to the Lactobacillus genus. Only one belongs to the Bifobacterium genus. Its rare to encounter a probiotic formulation that has so little input from the Bifobacterium genus, but Lactobacillus is always a key player, so no surprise there.
