My Experience And Side Effects
I tried these Natures Bounty Probiotic pills for a few weeks, taking the recommended dose of 2 capsules once a day. They are easy to take and have no flavor. To start with I didnt notice any results and thought it might not be working.
However, after a few weeks, my digestion was on track and more regular than before, and I felt quite energetic and light, having got rid of some bloating.
When taking the Natures Bounty Probiotic 10 Probiotic, I needed a few days for the body to adjust to the potent strain of probiotics fully.
The initial side effects included bloating, cramps, and gas all otherwise normal side effects of probiotics, depending on your digestive system.
Luckily, after a few days, the stomach pain and cramps went away, which was a sign that my body adjusted to the supplement. It is worth noting that side effects were not severe, but of course, this does depend on everyones circumstances.
Finally, it is good to take these capsules according to recommendations for some time and then adjust the dose that suits you. Once your body starts to respond to the probiotic strains, you may be okay with more rare intakes, for example.

So, we did manage to touch upon this idea that the product reviews that the Natures Bounty Acidophilus Probiotic has on its product page are no the brightest. And thats something extremely contrary to what we have seen from supplements like the 1MD Complete Probiotics Platinum and the GutPro Probiotic , and just what we see generally.
I mean, its typically the case of unnaturally positive feedback. Thats not the case with the supplement of this review.
That said, the total review count is just too small to say anything about the Probiotic supplement reliably. Hence, I went and took a wholly encompassed look at all Natures Bounty Acidophilus Probiotic reviews by third-party sellers and retailers I could find. Heres what I found.
In total, I managed to come across 8,773 Natures Bounty Acidophilus Probiotic reviews. Of these, a total of 8,184 were positive whereas just 623 were negative. Which means that we have a global success rate of 93.3%. Which is absolutely unreal.
I mean, the success rate is purely busted. And through that, it does look like a really awesome supplement. But thats the danger there.
Yes, many people believe that this has helped them. However, judging by the active ingredients it contains, it isnt a great product. I mean, sure, it can help. To that end, there is nothing inherently bad about it. Its certainly better than no Probiotic. But saying that this actually, genuinely improved things for people I feel is a stretch, to say the least.
A More Detailed Look At The Formula
As you can see, the formulation appears to contain two forms of Lactobacillus Plantarum. There are also two forms of Lactobacillus Paracasei.
Natures Bounty does not list the ingredients in a sensible way.
In the case of, Lactobacillus Plantarum 299v, the bacteria belongs to the Lactobacillus genus, the species is Plantarum, and the strain is 299v. Although Natures Bounty fails to provide it, the strain identifier code is DSM 9843.
For the second form of Lactobacillus Plantarum, Natures Bounty provides the identifier code but not the strain. Its a similar situation with Lactobacillus Paracasei. Although this is annoying it is not a major problem but it would have been nice to see some consistency.
Of the 10 bacteria strains provided, 9 of them belong to the Lactobacillus genus. Only one belongs to the Bifobacterium genus. Its rare to encounter a probiotic formulation that has so little input from the Bifobacterium genus, but Lactobacillus is always a key player, so no surprise there.
